Lincoln Drive Control: CCD

The Lincoln MKS driving experience is refined and engaging thanks to continuously controlled damping (CCD). It uses an advanced suite of sensors to constantly monitor suspension motion, body movement, steering and braking inputs.46 inputs every 2 milliseconds help the CCD rapidly adjust the suspension. Three ride modes are available to choose from: Comfort, Normal or Sport.

Curve Control

If you're coming around a curve a bit too fast, you'll be glad to know that the Lincoln MKS comes with Curve Control,39 an enhancement to the AdvanceTrac® electronic stability control system. If it detects that you're entering a curve too quickly, it will apply four-wheel braking, while also employing throttle reduction, to help reduce your speed.

Braking System

Standard brake assist helps to maximize braking efficiency. With the addition of standard AdvanceTrac® with four-wheel ABS, traction control, and electronic stability control, the MKS delivers confidence during emergency braking.

Adaptive High-Intensity Discharge (HID) Headlamps with Auto High Beams

Standard adaptive HID headlamps with auto high beams are designed to help make night driving easier. The lights turn, according to the steering wheel angle and vehicle speed, to allow for an expansive field of vision around dark curves. The auto high beam feature will automatically switch to low beams when sensors detect a vehicle ahead.

Intelligent Access with Push-Button Start

Intelligent Access with push-button start is a Lincoln MKS standard feature. With the key fob in your pocket, purse or briefcase, just open the driver's door. Once inside, press the brake pedal and then the start button, shift into gear and take off. It's so easy and convenient, you'll wonder how you ever got along without it.

Split-Wing Grille

The refined lines of the signature Lincoln split-wing grille integrate seamlessly with the headlamps and flow with the contours of the hood to create a unified, sleek and modern design. It strikes the right note, accenting the aerodynamic design of the Lincoln MKS.

Power Vista Roof

The available Vista Roof is something you'll definitely want on your list of must-haves. The forward panel above the front row opens for added ventilation. The fixed rear skylight provides an expansive view for passengers in the rear seat. There's also a power rear sunshade that helps keep the interior cool.

SiriusXM® Traffic and Travel Link services

Available navigation includes a six-year SiriusXM® Traffic and Travel link subscription - the longest of any automobile manufacturer. Global Positioning System (GPS) technology is combined with 3-D mapping and provides voice-guided turn-by-turn directions. With SiriusXM® Traffic and Travel Link, you'll get detailed traffic information, plus current and forecasted weather, gas station locations and prices, sports scores and schedules, and movie theater locations with show listings and times

BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert

The available BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with cross-traffic alert* helps make driving more convenient. It uses radar to identify if a vehicle is detected in your blind spot and alerts you with an indicator light in the appropriate exterior mirror. Cross-traffic alert also uses radar to watch for traffic behind you as you're slowly backing out of a parking space or driveway. If cross-traffic sensors detect a vehicle approaching from up to 15 yards away, you will be audibly and visually alerted.

Adaptive Cruise Control and Collision Warning with Brake Support

Available adaptive cruise control (ACC) functions just like traditional cruise control, but with one exception: When the system is activated, its sensors can detect traffic slowing ahead and slow your vehicle to maintain the distance you've set. When traffic has cleared, your vehicle resumes the preset speed. Collision warning with brake support (included with ACC) can alert you if it senses a potential collision with the car in front of you. A heads-up display, which simulates brake lights, flashes on the windshield. If you don't react in time, the brakes will precharge and increase brake-assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you do brake.

Climate-Controlled Seating

Both driver and front passenger can relax in the heated or cooled front seats with three temperature settings each. A thermal engine, operated independently of the vehicle's climate-control system, heats or cools the air and then circulates it through the perforated cushion and seat back. Heated rear outboard seats with two temperature settings are also available.

Heated Steering Wheel

A cold steering wheel is a thing of the past with the available heated wheel, easily turned on or off with the icon on the standard 8-inch touch screen.

Bridge of Weir Leather

Individual and unique, standard Bridge of Weir leather seat trim from Scotland is free of brand marks and other imperfections, allowing a striking presentation of the beautiful material. The Bridge of Weir organic tanning process produces environmentally sustainable byproducts, and the leather itself can be recycled at the end of its life.
